Homelessness Services*

THE WELCOME PROGRAMME  is a network of  projects for rough sleepers and vulnerably housed people in Central London.  The Programme is managed by Jon-Jon Hilton and consists of the following services that aim to support people on their journey out of homelessness.

1.The Drop-in  – A  resource hub focused on providing  relief and advice for people currently street homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We offer free food, showers, washing facilities,  housing referrals and other practical support in a welcoming and friendly environment.  We provide referrals into winter shelters between November – April.

2 . Podiatrist (Foot doctor)  –  A specialist podiatrist for homeless people run by the  London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.

  • Opening Times: Tuesday  10:00 am – 12:30 pm

3. Pop-up Clinic:  A ‘Street Clinic’ offering primary health care for Westminster based rough sleepers.

  • Opening Times: Wednesdays 10:00 am – 12:30 pm

 4. RoadMap Project – Following a one-one assessment, we offer customised support and advice services to help rough sleepers navigate a pathway out of homelessness. This includes a grant that can support clients with travel expenses, uniform for work or emergency accommodation.

5. Community Feast – A monthly lunch event run in partnership with homeless people and members of the local community. This focuses on building relationships with our homeless guests as well as equipping the local and wider community with training and awareness of homelessness.   • Once a month on Saturdays. This  even requires registration before hand at the London Jesus Centre reception on Mondays – Wednesdays 10 – 12:30 .

6. Support Worker – By appointment, we offer individual help and advice to help people navigate a pathway out of homelessness. This involves facilitating access to accommodation and referrals to emergency winter shelters.

Services for Refugees & Asylum Seekers

ESOL & Conversation Classes – We run 5  free ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and Conversation classes for  refugees, asylum seekers and people in economic hardship.

  • How to enroll: Call 0207 637 0600 to book an assessment which will take place at the London Jesus Centre on Friday afternoons.



Solace – A free monthly lunch event for refugees and asylum seekers. Includes practical help, listening and emotional support and referrals to other services.

Support Worker – Individual help, information and practical support for refugees, asylum seekers and people with No Recourse to Public Funds.

Margaret Street Lunch Club

Lunch even for people over 60.
